IT'S A LONG STORY
It's a long story how I became "Kimmy the Cookie Elf". Well, It all started back in 2020 when covid hit, and I started making full meals with a luscious desert for my neighbors here in St. Paul. MN, at cost. Until the City said, you can't do that Kimmy until we expand the MN Cottage Food producer license. It took a couple years, and meanwhile I cooked for free, because I love doing this, and everyone loved it, especially my desserts, cookies and dipped chocolates. Well, anyway, it was after my 2022 Free Christmas Cookie Extravaganza, that people started calling me "Kimmy the Cookie Elf" and demanding I start a business, and kept spreading the word locally about my cookies and dipped chocolates. So I checked the MN requirements, and was happy to find I could do it now, and obtained my State certification as a cottage food producer. Now I have an honest to goodness home Bakery!!! IT'S ALL VERY EXCITING but I have no idea what to do next. Creating a web site seems like a good first step. Love, Kimmy the Cookie Elf
Jay my hubby kitchen help Elf
My hansom Elf husband Jay has been a big part in pushing this new bakery too. Here is Jay eating a peppermint bon bon around Christmas time. People can't seem to get enough of my peppermint bon bons. One lady stopped by for a small box of these after having a bad day, and said after eating one, she'd got back to her happy place, and things did not look so bad anymore.
For some reason Everyone want's more of my dipped chocolates, especially the peppermint bon bon.
So here I am making the bon bon's. Jay snapped this picture while I was not looking. Apparently everyone loves these dipped chocolates. But I make great cookies too, especially my 4 egg sugar cookie, which people gobble these up so fast I've yet to get a picture of these. Another big hit are my chocolate covered cherries, and millionaire shortbread with the rich caramel layer. What do you want me to make?
